Standard and Custom Industrial Switch Seal Types:
Switch Seal Boots
Our Switch Seal is a one-piece boot constructed of a flexible rubber boot element that is bonded to a threaded metal insert during molding. This insert fully encapsulates the switch and bushing to the panel, ensuring a robust construction. This assembly replaces the panel mounting nut and seals the mounting hole, creating a robust watertight seal. It also eliminates any need for gaskets or packings, streamlining the assembly or installation process.
Toggle Switch Seal Boots
Panova Toggle Switch Seal Boots are one-piece seals constructed of a flexible rubber boot element, bonded to a threaded metal insert, that fully encapsulates the switch and bushing to the panel. This assembly replaces the panel mounting nut and seals the mounting hole, making it watertight.
Push Button Seal Boots
Panova’s Push-Button Seal Boots are one-piece elastomeric boots that seal a switch and internal components, protecting them against hazardous foreign elements. Our assembly replaces the panel mounting nut and seals the mounting hole. The result is a fully watertight seal that prevents the ingress of dust, dirt, and debris.
Rotary and Potentiometer Switch Seal Boots
Designed for use with rotary switches, our Rotary and Potentiometer Switch Seal Boots protect internal components of the switch from water, oil, dust, solvents, acids, and other contaminants. These seals come in a variety of materials, sizes, and materials, including extensive customization options.
Specialized Switch Seal Boots
In addition to our extensive range of switch seals above, Panova offers Specialized Switch Seal Boots in multiple models. These performance-engineered seal boots feature flexible, nonmetallic materials designed specifically to prevent entry of dust, moisture, and other contaminants into critical areas around shafts, levers, electrical wires and hoses. Sealing may be either static or dynamic depending on customer requirements.
Sealing Washers
We also offer Self-Sealing Washers and Lock Washers engineered to ensure reliable sealing when installed with standard screws and bolts. The screw head automatically seals upon installation, preventing leakage and the ingress of contaminants. Metal-to-metal contact prevents damage during installation, while carefully-engineered elastomer properties help maintain ideal screw tension once compressed. The symmetrical design also facilitates a simpler, more streamlined installation process ideal for automated assembly operations.
