Silicone Self-Sealing Washers
Using a robust one-piece molded construction, Panova’s self-sealing washers feature offset sealing elements. It’s a convenient design element that allows for precise fitment with standard, oversize, and eccentric holes. The convenient design facilitates easy fastener installation to seal out virtually all water, oil, dust, solvents, and other intrusive materials or contaminants.

The Material Advantages of Silicone Seals:
- Wide Temperature Range – Silicone seals maintain their physical shape and performance properties in an extremely wide range of temperatures. Depending on the design and application, typical operating temperatures can range from -60°C up to 230°C. Our silicone seals are thus suitable for some of the toughest operating conditions, including high-performance industrial applications.
- Good Resistance to Chemicals and Corrosion – Silicone is hydrophobic, meaning it prevents the intrusion of water. It also offers good resistance to many commonly used chemicals including industrial solvents, some acids and alkalis. Additionally, silicone is highly resistant to degradation from UV radiation and ozone exposure, which is essential for exposed seals outdoors or ones installed near high-energy equipment.
- Excellent Elastic Properties – Silicone seals offer excellent elasticity which can be custom tuned using different durometers.
